The spring meeting, “Thriving on Change in CME and Supporting Each Other”, held June 3, 2005 was a great success with 85 attendees, one of our largest turnouts to date. View slides. Mark your calendar early for the fall educational meeting, to take place November 4, 2005 at the Stonegate Conference Centre in Hoffman Estates.

 

IACME Officers and Directors elected
IACME officers were appointed, and new IACME Board Directors were announced at the spring meeting. IACME welcomes new Board members Rebecca DeVivo, MPH, MSW, Director of Accreditation and Certification, Division of CPPD, American Medical Association, and Jeanne Wegner, President, JMW Consulting. Thomas G. Pearson, EdD, Distinguished Service Award winner announced
The purpose of the "Thomas G. Pearson, EdD, Distinguished Service Award" is to honor the memory of Thomas G. Pearson, EdD, by recognizing a member of the Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education for significant contributions, warm friendship and outstanding
service to the CME community. Marcella Hollinger, MEd, Director, Education and Accreditation, Illinois State Medical Society, was awarded the third annual award at the IACME's spring educational meeting. Congratulations, Marcella!
