How would you like the opportunity to manage pediatric simulators that will allow health care professionals improve team work and patient outcomes?
Reporting to the Manager, Neonatal Resuscitation Program this position will assist in the coordination of simulation-based education, life support courses, and online offerings. This individual will manage inventory, simulators, and medical equipment; coordinate the planning, development, implementation, marketing and evaluation of live and electronic courses and products (i.e. seminars, Webcasts). Coordinate the Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit process; manage the day-to-day systems operations for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) online examination, and work with volunteers & partners.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, nursing or allied health, as well as 3-5 years in program coordination or continuing medical education. Understanding of anatomy and physiology and medical/clinical practice is essential. Previous experience with simulation methodology and database development experience is highly desirable. Ability to handle heavy workload, manage multiple projects autonomously, and adapt to changing priorities is essential. Some travel and weekend work may be required.
