November Conference a Huge Success!!
According to Jeanette Harmon, Program Committee Chair, evaluation results
from 54 conference participants claimed this meeting the best ever!! Participants
not only appreciated the variety of educational sessions, but rated the game of
CME Jeopardy and the small round table luncheon discussions as great ways to
test knowledge and solve common problems in a collegial and professional
environment.

IACME’s 20th Anniversary Conference and Celebration

The Hyatt Lodge and Hamburger University at McDonalds Campus
The 20th Anniversary Committee met on Thursday, December 10th to further
discuss the celebratory event scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2009. After
reviewing the findings from the membership survey, the committee was informed
that event will include a morning of educational presentations followed by a
reception and an extended luncheon with an awards ceremony. Committee
members volunteered to serve in various capacities as noted below:

IACME and ISMS Collaborative Conference

Spearheading this effort on behalf of IACME and working on the event with
Marcella Hollinger, ISMS Director of Education and Accreditation, are Mellie
Pouwels, IACME President-elect, Jeanne Wegner, IACME Treasurer, Rita
LePard, ISMS Education Staff Specialist and IACME Director,
and Jeanette Harmon, IACME Program Committee Chair.

IACME members, present and past, are cordially invited to
visit the Alliance President’s Suite prior to the IACME
dinner on Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 6:15-7:00 pm to
kick off our 20th Anniversary celebration. The suite will be in
the Marriott conference hotel but the exact location will not
be known until we arrive in San Francisco. We will post the
location on the message board at the conference registration
desk and will spread the word through IACME leadership.
It won’t be a party without you, so please plan to attend!
