Founded in 1941, the mission of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) is to be the leader in advancing patient care and digestive health by promoting excellence in gastrointestinal endoscopy. ASGE, with nearly 11,000 members worldwide, promotes the highest standards for endoscopic training and practice, fosters endoscopic research, recognizes distinguished contributions to endoscopy, and is the foremost resource for endoscopic education.
We are currently looking for a Coordinator to use his/her expertise in managing all the administrative functions of our Education and Training department. The Education and Training Coordinator will be accountable for tracking information and documentation from course faculty and planners, syllabus development, preparation of course materials including attendee rosters, badges and evaluation forms, timely and accurate entry of participant survey data and feedback, and production of certificates following events. This individual will provide onsite support for courses and other learning events, and will serve as the central “go to” for information regarding all education events including registration, accommodations, payments, refunds and certificates. The Education and Training Coordinator will develop and manage a comprehensive document management system for all current and future continuing medical education (CME) activities. This is a perfect entry-level opportunity for a highly motivated, organized, and results-driven administrative expert who is able to work independently and as a critical member of a fast-paced, results-driven team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in a medical association or other continuing education environment. He/she must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a strong drive to consistently produce accurate and complete work.
