2010 Call for the Thomas G. Pearson Distinguished Service Award Now Open 

The Thomas G. Pearson, Ed.D. Distinguished Service Award was created in 2002 as a way to recognize individuals for their invaluable contributions and distinguished service to the CME community as exemplified by their devoted support, commitment to excellence, demonstrated dedication to the profession, and generosity of spirit through his or her involvement with the IACME, his or her own organization, the State Medical Society, or other organizations involved in CME.

ELIGIBILITY:  All IACME members in good standing are eligible. However, officers and other members of the Board of Directors are not eligible for the award while serving in that capacity.

QUALIFICATIONS:  The award will recognize IACME members for their invaluable contributions and distinguished service to the CME community as exemplified by their devoted support, commitment to excellence, demonstrated dedication to the profession, and generosity of spirit through his or her involvement with the IACME, his or her own organization, the State Medical Society, or other organizations involved in CME.

PROCESS: IACME members are eligible to nominate their fellow members for this distinguished award by completing the attached nomination form.

The recipient may be selected annually, by a vote of the Board of Directors, from the nominations received.  If a recipient is selected, the award will be presented to at the IACME Annual Meeting on May 21, 2010.
