The Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education announces its annual Call for Nominations to the Board of Directors. This year the board is seeking four (4) candidates to fill board vacancies. The IACME encourages all of its members to consider running for the open positions. We are seeking board members who represent diverse settings and experiences in CME.
The Board of Directors is comprised of up to twelve (12) members that guide the future directions of the organization and monitor all IACME committee efforts. Nominees must be willing to attend at least four (4) board meetings per year. Each director serves a two (2) year term, with the opportunity to serve for a consecutive second term.
If you are interested in running for the position please do the following:
1. Complete the Nomination Form. Click here to download the Form.
2. Prepare a maximum 250-word biographical sketch.
3. Complete the Nominee Attestation Statement. Click here to download the Statement.
4. Submit materials by Midnight, CST on March 28, 2010.
Once completed, all forms can be returned to the IACME via the following options:

Nominees will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee to validate eligibility requirements and selection criteria.
By April 1, 2010, biographical sketches of selected candidates and an IACME Election Ballot will be disseminated to the IACME membership.
IACME members will have until Midnight, CST on April 30, 2010 to complete the IACME Election Ballot.
Election results will be announced during the Business Meeting held in conjunction with the IACME Annual Educational Conference on May 21, 2010!
